The New Carlisle Breakfast Optimist Club has been serving the community for over 25 years. As part of the larger Optimist International organization, the New Carlisle Optimists join clubs around the world to conduct over 65,000 community service projects. Our mission is to “bring out the best in youth” and respond with flexibility to needs in our community.
Locally, our organization coordinates the annual Heritage of Flight 5K Race, hosts an annual Oratorical contest, and works with our high school students for an Essay contest. Additionally, we proudly support our Jr. ROTC organization, various sports teams in our community, Bethel Churches United Food Pantry, Relay for Life, IMPACT Bethel’s summer lunch program and the Tecumseh Education Foundation’s Mini Grant program. We also partner with other Optimists for Kids Day in the Park, a gathering of clubs in the area at Delco Park in Kettering, full of games, face painting, mascots for youth from all over the Miami Valley.
New Carlisle Breakfast Optimist Club meets each Wednesday morning, starting at 7am, at Studebaker’s Restaurant. All our welcome.
